Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Storing gaps in the database works well, but it means we have more memory allocated than we actually need. Let's try to collapse the holes once everything is using a track pointer.
